For the first round its decided by the comittee and is liable to change before race day as I get the usual my pitman this my pitman that type requests. The following rounds are based upon your position in the championship.

Can all drivers please check

http://results.uktruggypro.com/mtg2/compets.htm

to ensure that their PTs, Freqs etc are correct.

Surely a fairer way to sort the heats would be to base it on finishing positions in last years championship, then people would be racing competitors of a similar ability and if a person didn't enter last year they start in the lowest heat.

Neil
Also how were F1 & F2 drivers sorted because there would appear to be some strange ratings for some drivers?

No sorting on F1 or F2 done. Some clubmans (F2) need to be updated.

Fairer for those who entered last year maybe!

Fairer for the people who supported the championship last year would seem an obvious way to go about it surely?
Other well run sections of the BRCA use this method.

Hi Neil,

Just a note, 007 Steven Bond will be running the LRP Truggy S8TX and not the STRRRRR.....

Heat listing looks like fun! Roll on Roand 1...

Joe.

how can you say that, i was only a basher this time last year, never even knew about the Nationals, but now i feel i have progressed and am a hell of alot better than i was,

i think the way they have done it seems fair enough, maybe names from a hat would of been a little more random but hey, its only abit of fun dude, chill out....

Plus it's only for the Herts round, then results will dictate heat positions for later rounds

The rules state:

[b] Heat ranking for round 1 will be based on ability as determined by the committee.

Therefore, it is down to Neil & co to decide how they are going to determine ability and isn't really for us to question...if you are unhappy with the method used, I guess it is something you should raise at this years AGM and perhaps you could put forward a proposal for those attending to vote on...

Although I haven't been racing truggy long, I have been getting some decent results with it but am only in Heat 3. This may be a nightmare, it may be fine or may turn out to be to my advantage...either way, I will accept the commitees decisions (I'm sure they've got enough to do!).

Here's looking forward to a good first round and hopefully some decent weather! :)

No, fairer to all should be the obvious way to go - we are not other sections of the BRCA!

:) as far as i know its a fiver for either van tent or sleep in car lol...he is a nice bloke

forgot to mention also toilets in the retail bits on site with wheel chair access but dont know what time they shut

as far as i know should be no need to pre book we have a very large field

hope some one will be on site to show you where to park as we will need to keep some access routes and some space for herts members close to the rostrum for being available to help with running the event

last year we had a fenced off area for running cars on the sat to tune engines ect i will enquire if we can do the same this year,,, however no running our cars at all in the field as we had a problem last year not truggy nats i might add so no one can run its a club rule ty john:D
