I think its a big ask in the current climate for all rounds to be paid up front with no chance of a refund. I understand it stops a lot of messing around and helps you to organize things easier. Would it not be possible to pay a month ahead of the round entered for? This will help people spread the cost and still give plenty of time to set up the round.

My worry is paying all up front, then finding out I can't make a couple of rounds due to holidays etc. Currently I can make all rounds, but its hard to be 100% till the new financial year due to my wifes forced holiday diary.

Understand where you are coming from. People can pay on the day but there is a premium for this. The big issue is that we have costs to outlay and we have to be sure that we have enough "working capital" to cover that.
